Strange happenings are afoot!

This has never happened to me before but when I went in to update my last post there was an error and somehow the entire post has disappeared (comments and all; so sorry about that gals!)

So rather than attempt to replicate the previous one, I will just say this:

Here is not one but TWO entries for this week's super fun Three Muses Challenge . . .
Ethel kept her eyes
firmly on the prize.
She saw him first
he was hers
and Hilda was not to have him!
Birds of a feather DON'T always flock together! Heehee . . .

I'm Being Published!

Got a private message this evening over at Digishop Talk to let me know that one of my latest layouts will be featured in the upcoming issue of the DST Insider . . .

I guess my little fairy is really taking my admonition to heart and flying straight onto the pages of the August 2010 issue; teehee.  A special thanks to my friends over at Deviant Scrap for the inspiration.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

My Etsy Shoppe has officially been open for nearly a month now and though I've yet to become an overnight millionaire, I am feeling the rewards of pride and accomplishment.  I look at this venture as being one step closer to realizing my dream of making a career of being an artist.  My shoppe is still small and humble at this point but I hope for there to be a need for expansion very soon and appreciate all the love and support I've received thus far (wink wink to Juli who "hearts" my shop). And a special thanks to Karen (a new Etsy friend and fellow antiquarian book lover) for featuring my Jane Austen Crown in her treasury.

 Stay tuned . . .
